We were cruisin’ a car show recently and Michael Tan had his streamliner on display with this turbocharged, Brent Sullivan – an owner of the auto parts store down town. The little 122ci four-banger uses a single turbo from Turbonetics and 840 hp “real easily” according to Sullivan. According to Tan, it’s the world’s fastest four-cylinder. It has set a record at 309 mph in G/Blown Fuel Steamliner and has run as fast as 335 mph. The new goal with partner Bruce Watson is to push the little four-cylinder to over 400 mph. That’s 586 feet per second.
